How to reach Environment Level 5 in every area

Published 6/22/2026

A step-by-step guide to pushing Environment Level to the max in each of Pokopia's four regions without wasting time.

How to reach Environment Level 5 in every area

Environment Level is the main progress bar in Pokémon Pokopia. Maxing it out in all four regions (Withered Wasteland, Bleak Beach, Rocky Ridges, and Sparkling Skylands) rolls the credits. Here is how to get there without spinning your wheels.

What actually moves the needle

Your Environment Level has one main driver: total Pokémon Comfort. Every Pokémon living in an area has a Comfort Level, and the sum of all those levels feeds directly into your score. The more Pokémon you house, and the happier they are, the faster the bar climbs.

Build houses, not just habitats

Habitats attract Pokémon, but houses are where your score lives. A Pokémon sitting in a habitat does not contribute as much as one living in a house. Once your crafting level allows it, shift your focus to building houses. Keep habitats active to pull in new Pokémon, then move them into homes as fast as you can.

Feed your Pokémon the right food

Each Pokémon has a food preference. Feeding them the wrong flavor gives no Comfort bonus at all. Check the preference card for each Pokémon in your area before cooking. A few minutes with the right recipes can spike Comfort across your whole roster.

Fix the roads

Most Trainers skip this one. Replacing broken road blocks in an area gives a direct bump to Environment Level. Walk the area and repair every damaged section. It is a one-time boost, but in the early levels it can be significant.

Using the PC

Access the PC (located next to the pokecenter) and click on '-'. It will bring up a list of all mon within that area and show their comfort level. Make sure to scroll all the way down and focus on everyone who doesn't like their habitat yet.

Focus on one area at a time

Do not split your attention across all four regions at once. Pick one area and push it to Level 5 before moving on. Spreading thin means no area reaches the threshold where new story events unlock, which blocks access to the crafting recipes and materials you need everywhere else.

Do restoration requests first

Not all requests are equal. Building and restoration requests move Environment Level. Fetch quests give friendship and items but do not touch the score. If your request list is full and you have limited time, knock out the build jobs first.

The finish line

Most Trainers hit Level 5 in all four areas after 25 to 35 hours of play. Starting with Withered Wasteland works well because the materials there feed directly into the early crafting recipes you will need in later regions.
