Wish Upon a Jirachi

Published 6/23/2026

Event dates: June 23 to July 8, 2026. The game verifies the date online, so you cannot time-skip into or out of this event.

How to get started

You need a rebuilt Pokémon Center to participate. When you log in during the event window, Jirachi appears outside your Pokémon Center and hands you a recipe for Wish Notes. Each Wish Note costs 2 Vine Ropes to craft.

The two-currency system

The event runs on two items:

Wish Notes are the crafted starter item. Carry one in your inventory and visit your resident Pokémon. When they ask for something, handing over the Wish Note completes the exchange.

Sparkling Wish Notes are what you earn in return. Each completed resident request rewards you one Sparkling Wish Note on top of the normal reward. Note: requests you started before picking up a Wish Note do not count.

What you can buy

Exchange Sparkling Wish Notes with Jirachi for star and cloud themed furniture:

Building Jirachi's habitat

The "Surrounded by Stars" habitat needs four specific items to attract Jirachi permanently after the event ends on July 8. You need the:

  • Star closet,
  • Starry-sky bed,
  • Cloud table,
  • Jirachi lamp (which requires an electricity connection)

All four cost 1 Sparkling Wish Note each, so prioritise these before spending notes on decorative pieces.

Jirachi

Jirachi has the Litter specialty and moves into the "Surrounded by Stars" habitat once the event concludes. Build the habitat before July 8 so it is ready for Jirachi.
